Youth Art Contest

Each September, students in grades kindergarten through high school in the agency’s service area of Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, Rock, and Jefferson counties are invited to participate in the youth art contest.  The contest theme is “Ability. . .Not Disability” and features two-dimensional artwork submitted by the second Monday in November.  All students that enter receive a gift.  Cash prizes of $100, $50, and $25 are awarded to first, second, and third place entrants in each of three grade categories.  The winning entries in each grade category are permanently displayed in the Society’s Assets main office.  Artwork is also incorporated into agency materials.  Note cards with the winning entries from the 2002 contest are available for purchase.  Cost is $5.00 for a package of 12 cards and envelopes.  (Note cards are blank inside.)  Official entry blanks are available from the main office in Racine.
