Adaptive Equipment

 

            Society's Assets staff members provide consultation on adaptive/assistive devices used at home, work, in a vehicle, or for recreation.

 

            The Try-Out Program loans equipment to individuals at no cost, equipment such as:  

    Modified kitchen and eating utensils

    Medication aids

    Amplified telephones

    Magnifiers

    Dressing aids

    Augmentive communication devices

    Computer technology and adaptations

    Mobility Aids

 

            After determining which device or model best meets an individual's needs, staff will explore funding options.
