Information/Referral

 

             Society’s Assets staff provide information on, and make referrals to, community resources for such things as:  

*     Adaptive equipment

*     Interpreters for people who are deaf

*     Housing

*     Transportation

*     Home health services

*     Employment issues

*     Financial assistance

*     Financial benefits

 

            Staff help people with disabilities and older adults find answers to questions such as:  

*     Where can I find subsidized housing?

*     How can I find adaptive equipment or assistive technology?

*     Could there be a telephone and other communication equipment that I can use even though I’m hard of hearing?
